Review by hotel critic
Driving through the picturesque countryside of Poland, we stumbled upon Chutor Nad Narwia, a hidden gem that turned out to be a delightful surprise for our impromptu stay. As the sun dipped below the horizon, we were welcomed by the charming manager, Kordian, who treated us like long-lost friends with a traditional drink-a heartwarming gesture that set the tone for our visit.Despite our late arrival, Kordian ensured we felt at home by swiftly checking us in and leading us to our cozy room. The rustic yet elegant interiors exuded a sense of comfort, complemented by modern amenities including a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom stocked with fresh linens and towels. We appreciated the eco-friendly touch of a glass carafe of water, a simple yet thoughtful detail that showcased the property's commitment to sustainability. We savored a late-night feast of homemade pierogi and regional craft beers, a true taste of authentic Polish cuisine that left us longing for more. The next morning, breakfast was a delightful affair, served with care and attention to detail, ensuring we started our day on a delicious note. The property's serene surroundings, with the Narew River nearby, added to the tranquil ambiance, ideal for a peaceful weekend retreat. The staff's hospitality was exceptional, with a willingness to assist at any hour, making us feel truly valued guests. The pet-friendly amenities were a bonus, offering ample space for our furry companions to play and roam freely.Chutor Nad Narwia's convenient location, around 27 km from notable attractions like The Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic, makes it a strategic base for exploring the region. The seamless blend of traditional charm and modern comforts, coupled with friendly hosts and delectable cuisine, makes this hotel a destination worth revisiting. We left with cherished memories and a desire to return to this enchanting place.
